Pinky got us this awesome giraffe that I had heard such great reviews of. She's made of a natural rubber and has a little squeaker in her. Zanthias liked chewing on her, but he is finally starting to hold onto her himself and chew her...or chew her and his thumb at the same time.

Standing up and tummy time
Zanthias' legs are so strong! His balance is getting a lot better too. And Daddy finally got to see him roll over today! The videos aren't great, it's better in person, but he makes this serious face and wrinkles his forehead and goes "mmmmm". It's so funny. Tobey is feeling all better as well-yay! He and Max are on a homemade diet now, so hopefully he won't ever get pancreatitis again. It was really scary and sad.

4 month well baby visit
Zanthias was sick last night, so he weighed in a little light-22 lbs and 2 1/2 oz. He's still way off the weight chart though! He is 26 1/4" tall, and in the 90th percentile. We're going to be referred to a dermatologist and plastic surgeon for the spot on his head. The dr. now thinks it is a patch of overgrown sweat glands. He didn't even cry with his shot today, which was a surprise. He's been very sleepy since yesterday, so it's kind of nice because we've been able to get a little sleep ourselves.

What a fun time!
We had a great time with Grandpa and Grandma Garrod. We went out to eat a lot, and even got some yummy Ben and Jerry's ice cream! Zanthias had a bad week, because he was a little sick and his silly teeth just keep hurting him. Other than the screaming at night (which Wilbur and Deborah were lucky to miss!) it was a great visit. We were so happy they were able to see him before he got too much bigger.

15 weeks!
Chunky monkey in his new car seat. He grew out of his infant seat a while ago, so we got him a convertible. Only goes up to 40 lbs, so let's hope he doesn't get too big!

Surprise!
Where's the baby?
We had some surprise visitors on Friday! Grandpa and Grandma Garrod came to visit Zanthias!
We've been having a lot of fun with them, hanging out, going out to eat (thanks for all the yummy free meals!) Looking forward to having some good times. I'll post more pics later.
