Tummy time

Tiffin (Drew's cousin) sent Zanthias a gift card, so we got him the mobile you see in the above pic. He really loves watching the animals go around!
Zanthias doesn't enjoy tummy time too much, but here a couple of cute videos of him today.

10 weeks and presents

Thanks for the presents everyone! It was really thoughtful of everyone.

Wilbur and Deborah, all the clothes are so cute! We especially love the Wall-E outfit-we loved that movie. Drew really liked the Columbiana clothes too. It was such a huge box! Zanthias will get lots of use out of everything.
Tami, Brian, and Tanner, thanks for all your presents. Zanthias will love the books and we showed him everyone's pictures in the book.

We were at the store the other day, and saw a cute little boy with really long hair. We asked how old he was and the mom said 6 months. She was amazed when we told her how old Zanthias is! Her boy only now weighed 15 lbs. How did we get such a big boy? Enjoy the videos and pics!

Thanks for the packages, Will and Deborah. We're waiting to open the big box until next week.

We've tried to deny it, but we can't any longer. Looks like Zanthias is going to be a redhead!

9 weeks part 2

Because he's just too cute for only one picture post!

9 weeks

Can you believe the little stinker is 9 weeks old already? He's pretty much over his bronchiolitis (yay!) but threw up on me today (ew) He's not sleeping too well lately, so there have been a lot of late nights here. He's growing so much-his 3-6 month clothes fit just about perfectly, so I know we'll be moving to 6 month clothes soon, which is just crazy.
We can't believe how big of a baby he is. Neither of us expected that. He's smiling a lot more now, and likes to look at things. He can hold his head up really well, though not perfectly yet. He likes to stand up too and can support his own weight well if we're balancing him. He has a mobile on his swing that he just loves. We're looking for some toys to hang from the ceiling like they do at the dr.'s office because he really seems to enjoy those.

update

Update from doctor's appt. today-
Zanthias got his DTaP/HIB shot today. He was screaming before he got stuck, so he didn't even seem to notice the shot. His lungs sound good. We're giving him Tylenol to help with any pain from the shot. He's been pretty fussy this afternoon, but good otherwise.
He's 24 1/4" (90th percentile!) and 15 lbs (still off the weight charts!) and his head is 20" around.
He would probably weigh more except for being sick is taking a lot out of him I think. But man, what a big boy! The doctor said 3-6 months is major chunk time, so expect him to get even bigger.
I've got him in a 6 month outfit (the blue striped one) that my friend Tara got for him. See how snug it is?
Well, here's hoping he starts feeling better and SLEEPING soon. He's been feeling so bad, he wants to be in our arms at all times, or he screams his head off. Poor little dude =(

8 weeks

Our big boy is 2 months old today! He's still sick =( His dr.'s appt. is tomorrow, so we'll see how he is doing then. He'll be getting his first vaccine tomorrow as well, the DTaP. I hope it doesn't hurt him too much. I'll post more details about the appt. tomorrow.
