Horsey!

I got this for $1 at a local store. It needs some TLC, but how cute is it? The kids are a little unsure of it-it's pretty big for them.

They're going to be filming a movie in Asheville! The Hunger Games, based on the book. They're holding a casting call for extras tomorrow, so we are heading there to try our look. What do you think of our headshots? Pretty cute kids, right?

Big news- Zaphira is a walker! She has been cruising for some time, and in the last week, she has started walking on her own. Can you believe it? I thought it was so early that Zanthias started at 9 months. Zaphira had to beat him and do it at 8.
Poor Zanthias had fun outside today, until he got a sweat bee IN his shirt and got stung 5 times =(

Face decoration time!

Zaphira got ahold of a small piece of wax (food grade at least! from a mini Babybel cheese) today and puked it right back up. While I was busy trying to clean her up, Zanthias was very quiet...too quiet. He found a marker and decorated his face. He liked it, though he didn't like the cleanup.
Zaphira is busy crawling everywhere and pulling herself up on everything. She enjoys yogurt, as does Zanthias. We have to hide it in the fridge or he would eat nothing but yogurt!

Zaphira has 2 teeth, is crawling like crazy, and pulling herself to stand on everything (and everyone!) Zanthias is adding some new words to his vocabulary and is loving getting outside in the nice weather.
