We went to our friends' house (Erica and Irving) to eat and play Wii on Friday. She's almost 30 weeks pregnant and very excited. Drew and Irving work together. They are cloth diapering too (yay!) and were very interested in babywearing, so I took over all my carriers and explained them and let them borrow some we're not using anymore. It's nice to feel useful sometimes! We've been able to share a lot of information with them about cloth diapers, and things like that.
Their baby shower is coming up in a couple of weeks. I'm kind of sad we lived too far away to have one, but oh well, maybe with the next one. I just think the games are fun and the food is good! They're going to have their pool ready, too, so we can see if Zanthias likes the water.
I'm going to make some cloth wipes, embellished prefolds and.... not sure what else yet-perhaps a soft crocheted ball. We found some great jungle print flannel at Joann's today (the nursery is a jungle theme-Erica even painted a mural on the walls!) Also found some great pirate flannel too, for only $2.50 a yard!
We had fun playing with their Wii too, and so did Zanthias!
